Leo is a Roman demigod, the son of Hephaestus, the god of fire and blacksmithing. Jason could tell that Leo wasn't well and something had happened to him. At breakfast, Piper changed his bandages as he writhed in pain. However, the two need to be killed by a god and demigod working together and they instantly reform. He then confided in him about choking Akhlys and when he was choking on the poison, he felt that he deserved it and didn't want to fight it. Her father has been missing for three days, ever since she had that terrifying nightmare about his being in trouble.
