My family tradition essay Rating:
Every family has their own unique traditions that they follow and hold dear to their hearts. My family is no different. One tradition that we have is something we call "Sunday Funday." Every Sunday, we make a big breakfast together as a family and then spend the day doing something fun.
This tradition started when I was young and my parents wanted to make sure that we had at least one day a week where we could all be together and enjoy each other's company. We would often go to the beach, take a hike, or go to a theme park. As I got older and my siblings left for college, we started having "Sunday Funday" at home and would play board games or watch movies together.
Another tradition that my family has is our annual holiday baking day. Every year, we gather in the kitchen and spend the day making a variety of cookies, breads, and other treats. We bake enough to give some away to friends and neighbors, and of course, to have plenty for ourselves to enjoy throughout the holiday season.
This tradition started when I was a child and my mother wanted to create a special memory for us. She would play holiday music and we would all sing and dance while we baked. It was a fun and festive way to get into the holiday spirit.
These traditions may seem small and insignificant, but they have become an important part of my family's identity. They have created a sense of togetherness and have given us the opportunity to make special memories that we will always cherish. I am grateful to have such a close-knit and loving family, and I hope to continue these traditions for many years to come.
