He was very much concerned about the health and welfare of the children in India, so he worked hard for the children so that they could receive what they deserved which includes their rights to education and healthcare. Thanking everyone who graced this auspicious day with their presence and made this event a memorable one. When you are sad we too feel miserable and at that moment we just want that you should get up and fight with those instances and adopt a never give up attitude. He constantly served as an example and source of encouragement for kids performing daring and selfless acts for their country.
Nehru, fondly called 'Chacha Nehru' was born on November 14, 1889. He was of the opinion that children are the future of a nation and hence they must be nurtured and educated well. Moreover, around 33 million children are working in various industries which are about the firth of child labor working worldwide. Before the demise of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, it was celebrated on November 20 just like United Nations. We commit mistakes on certain occasions but you all help us realize those faults. The way they bring them up will determine the future of the country. If there are many other activities lined up after the speech, then of course the speech itself must be a short one.

In contemporary scenario there are several crimes that are taking place against children. Children are frequently asked to wear casual attire instead of their school uniforms. Now-a-days, children are being victim of many social evils like drug, child abuse, alcohol, sex, hard labour, violence, etc. Under his administration, he paved a new way for growth and development of the nation. Their forefathers were Kashmiri Pandits. Therefore we celebrate his birthday as a dedication to the youth of the nation.

What's a good introduction for a speech? Children are the building blocks of our nation and we should help them grow in an optimistic manner. Childhood becomes the best phase of the life which should be healthy and happy of everyone so that they can be ready to lead their nation ahead. He loved children and cherished every moment he spent with them, believing that children hold the future of the country in their hands. Teachers also encourage students to draw and create innovative things in class like cards, crafts etc.
